As of today our Shiai Karate Open Tournament on March 25, 2018 was officially sanctioned by Ontario Karate Federation

We are glad to announce First Canadian Shiai Karate Association Kumite and Kata Seminar for all prospective Canadian Shiai Karate Association athletes. Seminar will be open only for Canadian Shiai Karate Association members from members clubs.
Seminar will take place on Saturday February 3, 2018 from 3 pm to 5 pm at HokKouKan Dojo – 157 St. Regis Crescent South, unit 201, Toronto, Ontario, M3J 1Y6 (across the street from Downsview Park Subway Station).
This Seminar will initiate a series of seminars from Canadian Shiai Karate Association which intend to improve our athletes’ tournament performance based on Shiai Karate methods. First Seminar will be concentrated to depict prospective athletes, give them a glimpse of possible development as well will start to create personal development plans for each prospective athlete.
Most of the time will be concentrated on Kumite, 3/4 of seminar’ time and only 1/4 on Kata.
Participants must wear Karate Uniform and have fighting gear with them for seminar.
Seminar is free of charge for all Canadian Shiai Karate Association members.

Our team of 5 athletes, 1 coach and 2 judges participated last Sunday April 23 at Shiva Fighters International Karate Cup-1 at Brampton Soccer Centre. We had great results and obtained 18 medals in total:

Our participation at first Ontario Karate Federation Invitational Karate Cup. We were represented by one athlete, one coach and one judge.
